Maneka

Maneka had a rather rough start in the pack, as she is scatterbrained, clumsy and also very tiny. Her siblings all were stronger than her and mean to her.
One day, after losing in a playfight with her siblings - again - she trotted around the den, trying to get distracted. She heard a weird sound which turned out to be the breathing noises of Pluto. She came closer, looked at him and realized that he looked different than his siblings, who were running around playfully close by. Noticing her curious looks, Petal - the mother - explained that the pup has a disorder that made his snout very short so he had trouble breathing.
Maneka felt sad for him. Also, she felt curiousity and sympathy because of how different she is to her siblings aswell - far less drastically than Pluto here, but still different.

So she decided to visit him a few times in the future. Pluto even seemed to also be interested in her. They could not do very exciting things but still enjoyed their time together and became good friends.

Many things happened and it turned out that Pluto had some special kind of destiny and was "chosen" to do something. Maneka did not really understand that but she accepted it.
It only became weird, when he just stayed small, while she herself aged. Even though Pluto had become immortal and so would not age anymore, she still hung around with him very often - even when she was an adult.

She felt a lot of sympathy for him, but still one day felt that she was not very useful of her clan and her paws were eager to discover a new place to live. She left the clan to find another.
