Diomedes was born in a pack full of strong warriors who often invaded other packs to build young puppies also into strong warriors. While Diomedes was born into the pack many of the other young pups had been taken from their homes and family and forced to endure hardships. At first Diomedes was a young naive puppy and molded into a perfect soldier. Soon as he grew up he realized what they were doing was wrong and that it was unjust to tear apart these packs and forced into a mold he was already apart of. He came to this realization as he looked at a mother and her pups in the eyes while his packmates slaughtered and took away other pups from their mothers. Eventually Diomedes had helped her escape with her puppies but not without a scolding from higher ranked wolves.

Diomedes started to cause issues for the pack as he started to get into more fights vocally and mostly physically. Wolves tended to get injured and less wolves were able to work which had caused the pack leader to banish him, but not without making a statement about what they were doing was wrong and they cannot force destiny. Eventually Diomedes became a traveling wolf going through many different environments and yet turning up victorious to his environment no matter how harsh. Diomedes had thick skin and Cronus had known that the second Dione had found him sniffing around their territory for scraps.

When Eric had first Diomedes she was standoffish towards him, but he seemed like too valuable of an asset to let go that easily. Diomedes was introduced to Eric's new program and hunting squad, RRD, and was made officially the first Chaser. He wouldn't let this pack be another one his ex-packmates tallied.
