As a pup, Raven Feather had learned to rely on wisdom rather than his hunting prowess. His pupmates happily tussled and played Hunter & Prey. Until the day that Raven Feather introduced Hide-n-Sniff in the tall grass near the pup den. After that, the pups rarely played much else.
As an adolescent, Raven Feather learned much from a retired alpha, Elm Flight. The old wolf could no longer see but he knew all that went on within the pack. Before the grey-muzzled wolf passed on to partake in the Moon Hunt, he gifted the younger wolf his name.
After the customary moon of grief, Raven Flight decided to leave his birthpack. The pack had taught him much, however, Raven Flight knew that there was more to see beyond the expanses of grassland.
His travels brought him to the forest where being a wolf only just old enough to be considered an adult in the eyes of the general wolf population could be troublesome. Especially as a wolf with no pack nor history to speak of.
It made becoming Alpha tricky in some respects. However, Raven Flight relied on his wisdom to gather to himself a loyal pack.
