Luci

Born as the younger twin in his mother's first litter, Luci led a very peaceful life in his small, tight-knit pack. They lived in a forested ridgetop that was surrounded by multiple fenced-off sections of human land. These sections often had huge, clueless prey that Luci's mother would tell stories about, but she and her mate made sure to tell her pups that the humans and their prey should never be approached. Luci stood by her words, but his brother unfortunately did not, and he paid the price with his life. The pack was devastated over the loss of their family member, and Luci was particularly shaken by the new empty hole in his heart. To grieve, he would wander around their territory until he could view the stars clearly and sing to his fallen brother.
On one particularly hard night for Luci, he was ambushed by a strange black and white canine, one like many others he had seen racing across the humans' grasslands. Despite her smaller stature, the way this creature stared at him with her quiet, confident stare put him on edge, giving him a feeling that this female was much more to her than meets the eye. She began pestering him with multiple different questions, all pertaining to his life as a wolf, pack life, and the world beyond humans. Eventually, Luci thought that bringing her to his mother and father would help answer some of her questions, but his parents were immediately hostile upon learning that their son had brought back a dog. His mother, still distressed over the loss of her first pup, accused Luci of wanting to cause her even more pain before leaving the territory with her mate. It took a few days before Luci realized that they had completely left the area, leaving him and Raevin to fend for themselves. Luci promised that he would teach Raevin everything she wanted to know all on his own, which seemed to satisfy her immensely.
From that moment on, Luci has barely left Raevin's side, teaching her to hunt, fight, stay out of trouble, and most importantly, be there for her whenever she is forced to make a hard decision for the good of the pack that they have since created together.
