Saint or Sinner? No a Lurer

Elijah is one of the most dangerous wolves to interact with. He is neither Saint nor Sinner, he is both. He may seem friendly, but his intentions may be one sided. His actions are purely personal, no matter how it effects others. The only other person he protects is his mother.

Lore

Elijah was the first son of Blaire. The pack was experiencing a terrible illness. It was decimating any litters the pack had and any pups that survived would die days later. Elijah was the only pup to survive in the litter but even he began to slip away.

Desperate, the young mother searched everywhere to find a way to save her son. She spent hours searching through books, working with her's and other pack's herbalists, witches, seers, anyone, but young Elijah was running out of time.

One day, a ragged old, cloaked male wolf came to the throne room seeking audience with the young Saintess. He claimed to know how to save her son and offered his help to do so. However, the Saintess's council did not trust this male and advised against the offer. Consumed by desperation, the young ruler ignored their warning and accepted the old wolf's help.

The female met the old male in the forest later that night with her dying pup, Elijah was nothing but skin and bones with barely any life within him. The male spoke, "To do this, you must give up something you find valuable."

"Anything..." Blaire pleaded.

The male smirked under his cloak and began chanting. The frail pup was slowly lifted into the air. Blaire watched in worry. Suddenly, it felt like Blaire's eyes were on fire and like something was pulling her soul out from deep within her. The pain was so great she couldn't even express it with screams. Black tar-like liquid began to ooze from her eyes and slowly obscured her vision until she couldn't see anything. And then suddenly, everything ceased.

No more chanting, even the woodland creatures went silent, and it was dark... so dark... The darkness wasn't going away like Blaire expected, she started to panic and demanded an explanation. The black substance dripped off her face and on to the dirt below.

The old wolf laughed, "You allowed me to take anything, so I took your sight. Your son shall sleep, but you will not be able to watch him grow when he wakes."

The male, kept his word, Elijah was safe in a deep slumber when mother and son were found.
Despite this, this gave Blaire more time, a chance to find a cure for her son. She continued on without her sight for answers to cure her son. And she found them. With the help from loyal members, they finally found what they were looking for to be able to save her son after many years.

Elijah was given the cure and finally woken up. He had never aged during those years, he was truly frozen in time. He aged and grew up strong like any other normal pup would after he woke. Able to live illness free with his parents and new sister. And thanks to other efforts from his father, Purge, Blaire was able to get her sight back, but not fully. Her body remains blind, however, she is able to see through the eyes of her mate on occasion.

Because of everyone's efforts, Elijah was able to live a long life... very long it seems. Somehow this ordeal had lengthened his life after he had been saved from it almost becoming the end. He was able to outlive his sister and his niece and have a son who later overthrew the current alpha, Elijah's niece.
