Biography
Also known as Kore, she is the Goddess of spring and Daughter of Demeter. She was abducted by Hades and brought to the underworld. She had eaten a pomegranate seed which caused made her stay in the underworld. Without Persephone, Demeter had grown depressed and brought winter to the world. Though Persephone had grown to love Hades, she missed her mother dearly. So she made a promise that she would come to the top world with her mother for 6 months, then she would go back to the underworld to be with Hades.
