This wolf may leave due to neglect! Make sure to feed and play with him!
This wolf is a traveling wolf! He is currently in his home pack. This wolf has not rolled over today and will not be able to be traded or gifted until its next rollover.
A wolf-like figure appears on the horizon. As it nears, you tell your pack to back off while you approach the stranger. As soon as you get close, he pads up and bows his head in respect.
"I have traveled far. I am in need of rest." He says quickly, peaking your interest. "Would you be so kind as to house me temporarily, at least until I can get my bearings to continue on?"
You look the wolf up and down, then take a deep breath. The scent tells you that he is definitely not from here, his pelt smelling of tall pines and riverbanks. As he watches and waits for a response, you make your decision.
"Very well. You may stay with us, but only until you are ready to leave. No sooner, and no later." You state, and his eyes light up and tail begins wagging.
"I give you my unending thanks! I am grateful of your kindness, and promise to earn my keep among your pack."
You let out a laugh. "Ah, yes. We will discuss your contribution later. For now, I would like to know what brings you to my territory. You do not smell of any place I know."
You gesture for him to follow as you turn towards your pack den. He matches your stride as he explains his situation.
His monologue reveals to you that your new acquaintance is called Marsh. You learn that he comes from Floof's Pack in the taiga, a name that is unfamiliar to you. He mentions that he travels to find his twin brother, Swamp. Marsh tells you he went missing during the wave of strange disappearances (Coigreach). He continues his search, even though it has been moons.
After Marsh's story, you quickly introduce your pack and settle him in a vacant nest.
That night, you dwell on Marsh's arrival. You silently wish him well on his journey, knowing the importance of a littermate. These thoughts drift you to sleep, excited about a new pack member, even if it is only temporary.
