Brightly colored leaves were easily pulled away from their branches as the autumn wind blew through the wood, signaling the approaching threat of winter. Curious light eyes watched the leaves float from below as the lone wolf stopped to admire the surrounding area. He took a deep sigh before continuing on his path with a confident and almost excited trot. Monde had only recently parted ways with his mother in hopes of exploring the world around him and possibly discovering a new home for himself. His mother had always kept him well hidden from the dangers of the world, so it was understandable for Monde to be unaware of the value of silence when walking amongst dry leaves. The carefree and overall happy energy could almost be seen radiating off the young wolf as he came onto a small hill, the thrill of being on his own seeming to build up within him and releasing itself in the form of a howl.
A set of ears perked up at the distant sound of a howl, and Jürgen was quick to pull away from his hunting party for a moment. "You guys go on ahead.." He notified them before heading in the direction of the stranger's call, his fur bristling as his pace picked up into a slow run. It didn't take long for his paws to slow, and his nose lifted into the air, pleading for any scent to come his way. However, nothing seemed to pull his attention more than the smell of a nearby white-tailed deer. A smirk made its way onto his muzzle, and his direction was adjusted to begin the solo hunt he had discovered for himself. Monde had been entirely unaware of what his howl had brought into the area, and he quickly descended off the hill he had been perched on moments before. A sudden rush in the woods before him forced his movements to a halt as he noticed a deer leaping away from a strange wolf. Monde's tail seemed to wag slightly at the sight, and in a flash, he rushed after the figure. Jürgen sensed something chasing after them and reluctantly let the prey escape, and he turned to face whoever had been tailing him with a fierce snarl. Monde yelped in surprise once he noticed the wolf turn to meet him and his paws scrambled to stop before the male, thankfully getting enough traction just before they could collide.
The aggressive male continued to bare his fangs as his haunches stood on end, "Who the hell do you think you are!?" He snapped down at the panting wolf, who responded in flattening his ears. "Oh, I uh..haha sorry! I guess I should've asked before joining in, huh? Anyways, I'm Monde. Nice to meetcha!" The obnoxious male babbled in response, and his tail wagged eagerly behind him as he moved into a sitting position. Jürgen had been so confused about the reaction he received from the other male that his snarl faded, and he took a step back to look at the figure for a moment. "What the hell? Nevermind, just get outta here, will ya?" He growled out before moving around Monde and heading back towards where he had last left off from his hunting party. "Hey, wait! Where are you goin'? I still didn't catch your name..Do you have a pack?! Can I come with you?!" He was quick to chase after the mottled figure, the questions and comments seeming to just pour out of him as he trotted a short distance behind him. Jürgen snarled to himself and attempted to ignore the annoying figure that was harassing him. An idea quickly flashed into his head, and he smirked to himself. "A pack? Yeah, I've got one. Wanna join?" The merled male baited before leading Monde back towards the area where Die Unbekannte was sure to be. He planned that Isaak would be able to deal with the annoying wolf and rid him of the burden, though to his surprise, his plan would soon backfire. Isaak didn't bother chasing off the irritating wolf once they met and instead appointed Jürgen to find a place for him within the pack, possibly doing it on purpose to punish Jürgen for coming back from an unsuccessful hunt. It took a while, but somehow Monde had managed to win Jürgen over, and they soon began spending more and more time together, with Jürgen having a newly found tolerance for Monde's obnoxiousness.
