Beast had always wanted to be leader, but when he wasn't chosen he chose the role of scout, seeing it as the next best thing. He was bitter for a long time, but as the months passed, he grew to love the role of Scout.

Best friend: Bison
Beast has always admired Bison's strength. These two ended up becoming good friends, often giving each other silly challenges and tasks to try and one up each other. These two make for good friends.

Mentor: Heron
While Beast appreciated Heron as his mentor, he couldn't help but feel bitter he wasn't chosen as heir to the pack. He spent a lot of his time grumbling and doing dangerous things in an attempt to show off, he knew this drove Heron mad. This resulted in him going missing for several days, when he managed to make his way back to his pack, Heron couldn't stop crying. The two's relationship seemed to change after this, the traumatic event bringing them closer. Beast loves his aunty, and is grateful for the love and care she shows to him, constantly trying to prove just how important and impressive the role of a scout is. Thanks to her, he is more content in his role and feels less bitter towards his sibling.

Apprentice: Coyote
Beast will admit, he was very grateful to get an apprentice that was nothing like him. He knows how much of a pain he was in his youth and unlike Heron, he didn't have the patience to deal with that. Coyote was a kind wolf, who just wanted to her job as best as she could. She was rather quiet, but that suited Beast just as well, he wasn't much for conversation either. He found himself impressed by the young wolf, not only was she not scared of his appearance, but she seemed brave when faced with most things. A good quality for a Scout, Beast was sure she would do the pack well.


History

Beast was born to Caribou alongside his littermates Fern and Peacock. The pack took an interest in Beast and his siblings from a young age. After all, they were in the running for the packs next leader. Beast was excited about the idea of being leader from an early age. Beast loved his pack, and he couldn't think of anything better than overseeing the wellbeing of his clan.
