Fern and Heron got along from the moment Fern was born. These two understood each other, and Fern knew he could rely on Heron to be there for him. Being a leader wasn't easy, Fern learnt that very early on. He was grateful for his aunties support.


History

Fern was born to Caribou alongside their littermates Beast and Peacock. The pack took an interest in Fern and his siblings from a young age. After all, they were in the running for the packs next leader. Fern found themselves fascinated by the idea of running a pack very early on. The most important thing in Fern's life was their pack and if Elk chose him to become her heir. Well, they would take on the job with pride.

Elk chose her heir the day before the pups officially became adolescents. Fern was honored that they were picked and vowed to do their best. They could tell their cousins and brother were disappointed they weren't picked, Fern felts jealousy and resentment coming off a few of them in waves. Fern followed their training diligently; they would prove to everyone that they were the right choice as heir. They wouldn't let their pack down.
