Akarpos

This is Akarpos! He's always wanted to travel, but being blind made that difficult. It's often something that gets him down, especially since he isn't able to help out his pack. But his brother couldn't bare to see him so upset, so he's taking Akarpos on an adventure! Hopefully it will put him in a better mood :)

Lore: Akarpos arrived in the mountains, it was his first time in the mountains and his brother, Asélinos, guided him through the rough terrain. Akarpos smelled a wolf before Aselinos did, and alerted him to the stranger. A large male wolf, approached the brothers and spoke gently. "Im melbourne, you two can follow me up the mountain." The brothers nodded, and the three male wolves kept the conversation going as they arrived to a large cave with multiple wolves and some outside at the top. The brothers met each wolf with short introductions and long conversations. Both of the wolves enjoyed their time at the Crystal Ambersy and hoped they sparked interest in the younger wolves.

Pack: Signs of Coming Storm
Lore: Asélinos and his brother were spotted by the returning hunting group from Signs of Coming Storm and offered a shelter. They were led to the pack's camp and were warmly approved by the pack members and the pack's alpha. While his brother was asked to help another traveler look after the pack's pups, Akarpos often wandered around the camp, discovering it with his nose and ears. On one day during their stay, a puppy was born that came out to be deaf. Akarpos understood that situation all too well, the way the puppy just got same as difficult start as Akarpos himself. He spent a lot of time with the young pup, supporting him in discovering the world. They made really good friends and Citrine, the deaf puppy, trusted Akarpos a lot. Saying goodbye to this back was difficult, but Akarpos knew it was time for his and his brother to set off again. They walked away, sure to be remembered by the pack forever.

💚| Akarpos and his brother Asélinos wandered through the swamp region, their paws sunk deep into the muddied water below them as they pushed through the terrain. Then, the faint glowing of blue could be seen behind a from behind a tree by Asélinos. Suddenly, Akarpos was stopped by Asélinos and just as he opened his mouth to ask why, a voice spoke. "Who are you?" Then another- "Independence? What's there?" Akarpos stayed behind his brother as Asélinos did all the talking. "I'm Asélinos, and this is my brother, Akarpos. We're travelers." "Travelers...I see, I'm Independence, and this is my friend, Equity." The wolf named Independence stated. Akarpos could hear the two wolves stepping closer. "Our pack is very open to travelers, we'd love to hear of your travels. If you'd like to follow us, Sense of Honor would welcome you." The other wolf, Equity spoke. Akarpos then spoke up, "We'd like that, wouldn't we? Asélinos?" His brother paused for a second..then agreed. "Yes! Lead the way, Independence!"
💚| When the four wolves made it to the pack, Asélinos and Independence started talking while Akarpos was left to interact with Equity. "Can you describe our surroundings to me?" Akarpos asked, "I wouldn't know really, I'm blind. Based on how everyone else describes it, swamp, more swamp, mud." Equity replied. "Me too. Does Independence help you get around? Asélinos has always been around for me." Akarpos questioned, trying to keep the conversation going. "Yeah, usually, especially when we were young. Though she recently became a Chaser of Certitude- which leaves not much time for me anymore. Which is okay! I understand-! I tend to feel a bit lost without her though. Y'know?" Equity responded, his voice leaving traces of fondness and anxiousness around the topic of his friend. "Yeah, I think I understand." Akarpos smiled softly to himself, it was sweet. "What's a Chaser of Certitude?" He added. "Ah, Hunt of Certitude is a hunting group for the pack, Independence is one of the chasers. Certitude is significant as she's the heir after Truth- and every heir needs to prove themselves by leading their own hunting group." Equity explained. "Wow, I see. Do you have a job?" Akarpos asked. "Well...I wish I could. I can't hunt, pupsit, and the herbalist already has an heir- even so I'm not great with herbs. I just kind of exist, I guess." Equity spoke solemnly. "Why don't you travel? You could ask Independence to be your guide?" Akarpos suggested, it didn't seem fair for Equity to not be able to do anything. "We do have travelers- I could never ask Independence though, I can't weigh her down like that-" "sh sh sh, just ask her! You never reeeallly know til you ask. Maybe she'd be delighted to travel with you." Akarpos cut Equity off of his negativity. "You- you-re right. I'll try, I'll ask her. Thanks Akarpos. Just met you today and I already feel like your friend." Equity responded, patting the ground for Akarpos paw, and once he found it, he rested it there.
💚| The rest of Akarpos and Asélinos stay was quite nice, the two got to know more about the pack, and they told stories of their own as well. They left feeling upbeat.
