Home pack lore : Sirius cautiously and carefully patrols the outer territory of her pack. She takes her scouting job very seriously. She keeps her head held high, constantly sniffing the air for the scent of something unusual. She takes a couple more steps until she catches the scent of mysterious but somehow familiar wolf. Sirius snarls as she follows the scent, getting prepared to defend her pack from the trespasser. She follows the scent for about five minutes until she finally notices the shape of a wolf in the shadows. Sirius lets out a loud growl, "Show yourself!" She commands. The mystery wolf steps out of the shadows with her tail tucked in between her legs and her ears pinned back, obviously afraid. Sirius continues to bare her teeth at the wolf until it finally hits her.. "Tahirah?" She tilts her head. The other wolf perks up, and her tail begins to wag. "Hi Sirius, long time no see." The wolf says in a cheerful voice. She didn't technically confirm she was Tahirah, but her response was enough for Sirius to know that this was indeed her.
Sirius remembered the day Tahirah left. She was just a puppy, only 5 months old. But she had always craved something more. More adventure, more excitement, just.. more. She expressed this to alpha Buzzy. He was hesitant, but he eventually offered the idea of her becoming a traveling wolf. Tahirah could barely contain her excitement, repeatly thanking Buzzy. She left that very same day with a couple of carcasses to keep her fed for a few days.
Sirius looked at the now adult Tahirah, standing in front of her in disbelief still. She was so tiny, and now seeing her full grown, it was so unbelievable. "Tahirah, wow.. you've grown so much!" Sirius exclaimed as she ran up to her and nuzzles her cheek. Tahirah nuzzles her in return, then takes a step back, "So have you!" She chuckles as she gestures to the gray fur surrounding Sirius' face. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm old, I know." Sirius playfully rolls her eyes before smiling and letting out a little giggle. They stand there in silence for a couple seconds before Tahirah speaks again, "I was honestly so relieved when I saw you, even though you were growling at me." She nervously chuckles."I was so young when I left, and I wasn't sure if I was going the right way. I'm so excited to see the pack again. I've been gone so long so I'm sure I have a lot of new faces to meet, as well as old, familiar faces to catch up with!" Tahirah tail starts to wag progressively faster the longer she talked. It reminded her of the day Tahirah left. She seems just as excited to be home as she was to leave when she was a puppy. Sirius notices that her tail was wagging slowly in response to Tahirah's excitement. "Well, come on!" Sirius turns, "Home is this way. And Tahirah," She looks over her shoulder, " I'm sorry for the growling and aggression. You know I didn't mean anything by it."Of course I know." Tahirah smiles and trots to her side. Sirius smiles back at her, "Come on." She begins to walk "Let's go home."
The two talk about Tahirah's adventures and how the pack has been doing. Lots of laughter from the both of them. Finally, they make to a small clearing. "Here we are," Sirius says as she sits down, watching all the members of the pack laughing and talking. "Home." She glances over to Tahirah, whose tail was wagging so fast it was shaking her whole body. Sirius smiles, "Go on, Tahirah." Sirius encourages. With that, Tahirah hops down the little hill and into the clearing, going to the familiar faces first. Her happiness and excitement was almost contagious. She was home.
