Biography
Mama Bear looked over at the puppy sleeping by her side. The puppy's tail thumped the floor rhymically, the dream inside his head spilling over into the real world. Mama Bear sighed sadly.
The puppy's eyes flickered open slowly, the wagging tail stopped. The puppy looked up sadly at Mama Bear and then buried his head in Mama Bear's fur.
"Did you have that dream again, little one?" asked Mama Bear.
"Yes." the puppy said softly.
"Do you want to tell me about it again?" asked Mama Bear.
The puppy paused, and after a long while nodded his head.
"Go on." Mama Bear nudged.
"Well, it was the same as usual. It's the day I'm born. My momma and daddy are smiling down at me. They're so happy with me that they're throwing a celebration. All the wolves from the pack are there to welcome me into the world. The room is full of music and balloons. Everybody is so happy and excited because I was born." explained the puppy.
"But then. Then I always wake up. And I'm here." the puppy sniffles sadly.
"I know that being given to the enclave isn't any puppy's wish," comforts Mama Bear, "but be positive. I think one day someone is going to come along and they're going to notice you. They're going to see how special you are. They're going to want to add you to their family and I'm sure the room will be full of balloons then."
Mama Bear snuggles close to the puppy and gives him a kiss on the top of his head.
"Little one," begins Mama Bear, "do you know how herbs are free when you're exploring, and in the raccoon shop they are 65 silver cones for a bundle, and in the trading center some herbs can cost hundreds off silver cones?"
"Yes..." replies the pup, cocking his head curiously to the side, tears still in his eyes.
"Well, it's the same herbs that are in explore, or in the raccoon shop, or in the trading center. The herbs didn't change, only the place where they are." Explains Mama Bear.
"So next time you are worried that you are worth nothing, just look around. You just haven't found where you belong yet. And one day someone is going to see just how valuable you are."
The pup looks up at Mama Bear and smiles sweetly. "Thanks Mama Bear" he coos, and snuggles deep into Mama Bears fur, the world looking a little brighter thanks to Mama Bear's love.
