My name is Celtica. I have always been a wild one. The forest, with its sprawling trees and hidden paths, is where I feel most alive. Others have never understood my need to be free- to be one with the forest. So when a couple found me alone, wandering through the dense underbrush, they thought they needed to rescue me. They didn't listen when I insisted that I was home already!
They brought me to The Enclave, an adoption center nestled in a cave within the forest. Here, a kind mama bear runs the place, looking after those like me who are found and brought in. But every time I look out at the forest that cradles this cave, I feel a tug in my heart. This isn't where I belong.
I often tell the other pups at The Enclave about my love for the forest – the way the rain feels on my fur, the songs of the birds at dawn, and the rustling of leaves that speak of freedom. "I'm not meant to be caged or kept," I say. "My destiny is to merge with the forest, to become a part of its eternal dance."
I know I am young and have much to learn. For now, I accept staying at The Enclave. I accept being adopted. But I hold onto my dream. One day, I will return to the forest, not just to live in it but to vanish into its essence, free and wild, just as I was always meant to be.
