Arriving to Morngarde was a hard journey for the twins, for the terrain was treacherous and enemies lurked behind the towering pine trees. Lukas and Luca had just reached the treeline when shadowy figures emerged from the darkness. The twins, being tired, yelped in fear. However, one of the figures stepped into dying sunlight. It was a wolf with fur the color of cedar. Others stepped up beside him- a snow white wolf with blood red eyes, a wolf that looked similarly to those dogs called "huskies", and others. The husky looking wolf spoke with a deep rich voice. "Lost, nykcommers?" The wolf spoke with an odd accent, one they had never heard before. Luka squeaked and hid behind his twin brother. Lucas spoke up with a shaky voice. "We-we were looking for adventure when w-we-" He trailed off, shaking. The wolf chuckled while another one, a female from the scent, approached them. She had brown eyes with a pale cream coat. "You two are exhausted, aren't you? Aran, they need food." She turned to the husky-wolf. Aran sighed and murmured softly to the red eyed wolf to his left. He nodded and approached the boys, picking one up by the scruff while Rjómi grabbed the other. They yelped and squirmed, though soon calming down as exhaustion hit them and sleep overtook them.

Over the next few days, these twins would experience a new culture that was unbeknownst to them before. The Nordic accent wore off on them, gaining a twinge of it. They made friends with Eiroenn, the Jarl's son, and Lukas even grew a small crush on Valkyrie. These young wolves learned about Odin, and the nine realms. Hveiti even taught them some tricks about herbs, while Skuld simply blinked at them with his three, lustrous eyes.

Morngarde would always hold a special place to them. The first pack they had ever encountered, led by the fierce yet motherly Yrsa.

Lore: While padding back through the pine forest, looking for new adventures, Lukas and Luca got into a playfight over something silly. After a brief tussle, they began chasing each other through the forest, yipping and laughing as they sprinted and dodged- until Luca ran directly into the legs of a wolf who towered over them, a wolf neither had noticed while caught up in their fun. The adolescents gulped in fear and scrambled back, but the wolf they had encountered simply blinked in surprise and then lowered his head to sniff politely at them. "Hello," he said kindly, "are you lost?" When the twins explained why they were out and about, he smiled and introduced himself as Slime-Coated Pond, a scout for the Three-Prong Pack, and invited them back to the pack to meet the others. Well, Lukas and Luca had intended to keep going, but adventure called and they found themselves accompanying this strange wolf back to his pack. The group of wolves they encountered welcomed them into the pack, asking politely about their travels.

Lukas in particular developed somewhat of a hero worship for Rabbit in the Snow, who had traveled to multiple packs as well and had finally come to rest in Three-Prong Pack. Lukas loved to follow Rabbit around, imitating him and asking for new stories. Rabbit was a little bemused, but enjoyed the attention and eventually came around to taking Lukas under his wing while the twins were in the pack.

BACK TO GENERAL: While Lukas and Luca loved the time they spent with the pack, soon enough they felt the call of nature tugging at their paws again, and they were ready to move on. With some heartfelt goodbyes and sad nuzzles, the twins turned their paws to the forest once more, ready for a new opportunity to grow and adventure.
