No one knows quite where Conifer came from, having been found unconscious amid the reeds of the marsh. They were unharmed, although they have no recollection of their past or how they arrived on the pack's border. Cohosh took immediately to the pup, doting on them and raising them as her own. Conifer also grew up alongside the pack leader's daughter, Chamomile.
Chamomile and Conifer grew up with no other peers their age, and developed a deep bond as a result. Conifer's quiet nature was often balanced out with Chamomile's outgoing personality, and helped Conifer gain confidence in themself. Though Chamomile has always known she's wanted to lead the pack's hunters when she's grown, Conifer has had no such dreams, and still, they cannot help but feel as though their calling does not fit into the mold of the typical pack roles.
As an adult, Conifer's confidence has improved, though they are still unsure of their life goals. They and Chamomile have retained their close bond... and it is possible that it has blossomed into something more.
