Kimba was born near the volcano she calls home. Her mother was a lazy wolf who barely wanted to put in the effort to care for herself, so she abandoned Kimba. The young pup wandered the area alone, paying close attention to her environment, surviving off of other wolves' pity.
One fateful night Kimba climbed the irritable mountain, taking shelter when a fearsome storm rolled in. She emerged from her tiny den when she heard the startled yelp of a young male. She found him dazed and covered in mud within a small ditch. She would come to know him as Sorin, and together they would spend the rest of their lives.
In the first months of their partnership they explored the mountains, hunted for small prey, and dug a comfortable den. They would gaze at the stars and watch butterflies. And eventually, they would carry their first litter of pups.
