Talmhaíocht was touched by the lobhadh as a pup, turning his once grey eyes into a ghostly white, and staining half his body with inky black fur. Many wolves in his pack rumor that it was the lobhadh that gave him his.. specialty, but others argue he always had the traits of a cailleach.

As Talmhaíocht got older he began to spend more time wandering in the dying swamp, collecting things from the nach maireann he found decaying in the marshy mud and water. he adorned his fur with feathers of a large raven, wore the foot of a dead crow on his ear, and he made a tail band out of the body of a wolf he had found half buried in the weeds and reeds of the swamp.

The more trips into the swamp he had, the more cuts, gashes, and knicks he got. he would return to camp and frequently find himself in the herbalists den almost every day. Once he had run into a giant brown bear wandering the marshes, and Talmhaíocht had not thought anything of it.. until it turned its face and showed half of it missing, and oozing with inky black blood. Talmhaíocht barely made it back to the pack alive, but he earned a large scar across his stomach from that fight.

Talmhaíocht eventually made a den just outside the packs territory, settling down in a secluded clearing that is heavily protected by mangroves, he spends most of his time studying the lobhadh and warning wolves and creatures of the dangers of the swamp. Talmhaíocht's studies of the lobhadh have helped the pack keep their territory clear of the inky black substince that plagues the swamp.

_{Talmhaíocht's 'studies' mainly consist of grabbing small birds and animals that have been touched by the lobhadh, and using geasa and deasghnátha to figure out the origin of the lobhadh and where it stems from. his most recent breakthrough was when he took down an elk tainted by the lobhadh and carving out its heart, which was covered in black blood that seemed to incase it in a cocoon, sticking to anything it touched like tar.}
