Lycan

Lycan was practically born into the pack fighting, her mother Willowherb often having to discipline and scold her for infighting with littermates. Her fiesty attitude developed into an arrogant streak that never truly went away. As a result, she'd claim to be able to do wild things that no one else could, often resulting in her getting scrapes and bumps as a puppy, scars as an adolescent. She really came into her own when the Alpha gave her a job: Scouting. It was a way to prove herself out in the field, to prove her arrogant boasts were indeed truths. She mellowed out more as she got older, though never losing the arrogant smug streak she'd always had as a puppy.

Her raven, nicknamed Calvin, came along when Lycan bet she could befriend a wild bird as an adolescent, and then spent way too long doing it until she succeeded. Calvin pities her in a way, the arrogance is a front for her insecurities and he knows that.

The silver fox, whom she and Calvin have dubbed Briana, that likes to assist her when exploring the wilds is a mostly silent but welcome addition, often finding nooks and crannies that Lycan didn't see before, even as a practiced scout. Briana is a good girl, often sleeping curled up beside Lycan and even being an extra assist with keeping an eye on pups when Lycan is helping out with pupsitting or even has newborns of her own. Lycan often wonders if Briana was a mother herself at one point, but Briana has never truly expanded on that question, simply saying that her kits are no concern of Lycan.

And it's true, she is insecure deep down. She fears of failing the pack, failing her Alpha and parents…but she'd never admit it to them. She barely admits it to herself.

Even when she was the current Queen (she changed her title, not feeling that she deserved to be called Alpha) she felt that she was going to fail, at least on some level. She will masked it as she always has, but she got better at accepting help from the pack over time.

Now, as a permanent guardian of those in her pack, she watches over them, doing her best to guide the Alphas and Kings and Queens after her. All with her raven and fox by her side.
