Amaryllis’s first pup to stay with the Fengari once grown. Primrose has become a dedicated pup-sitter for the Fengari Wolves.

Birthed her first litter of pups mid-Spring.

All six puppies are healthy and she decides on pup-sitting for her first litter.

After her first litter had reached adulthood and left on their own journeys (late winter) Primrose found herself wandering the mountains with her mother, Amaryllis. She was seeing her alpha off to explore in the nearby plains. When her mother left Primrose began to head back to the pack when she came across three tiny bundles in the snow. 

Prim could tell they were not siblings, one was an older pup with odd slitted pupils, the other two looked barely old enough to to be weened. She approached slowly, trying not to scare off the older one. The small pups she could catch easily, but she didn’t want to risk the odd eyed one escaping into a crevasse, she’d freeze out here alone in the harshest part of winter. 

The odd eyed up stared into Prims eyes as she approached. Calculating. Run? Hide? But her litter mates are too small and cold to move anymore. She silently hoped for a quick death if it was to be. 

Prim inspected the puppies, now close enough to see how cold they really were. She couldn’t move them all the way back to the Fengari, they would freeze to death before they made it halfway back. She looked around, occasionally sniffing the air. There were no signs of an adult anywhere. We’re these pups on their own?

She spotted a craggy overhang not to far away that had an old pine knarled around the entrance. That could be a descent shelter for a few days... She looked back at the pups and surprised the older one, causing her to cower a bit. Prim identified the coldest pup and picked her up gently and carried her away. 

The fox eyed puppy growled her disagreements, but could do nothing to stop Prim from carrying her up the hill. 

Once Primrose got the first pups settled, she hurried back down and gently lifted the other pup. This time the fox eyed baby followed her, determined to protect her wards. 

The pups settled and slowly began to warm back up on their bed of pine needles. 

Primrose would stay away from the Fengari for a few days to get the pups healthy enough to travel, then she would bring them to her pack to allow them a safe place to mature.
