Despite not knowing each other nor being packmates, Redmask licks your lips in greeting as if you were.
Redmask was found by a coyote, next to her mother, who had starved to death. The coyote had recently lost her pups, so she took it upon herself to raise and nurse Redmask. The rest of the coyote pack was surprised at first, but they were accepting nonetheless.
As she grew, she was taught an odd hunting method practiced by her adoptive pack, fishing. She was mostly raised by her surrogate parents, although she still had a great relationship with the rest of the small pack. The more she grew, the more evident it became that she wasn't a coyote, and so was told by her mother what species she actually belonged to.
She had recently turned 2 years old when her mother passed away due to illness. Redmask was devastated and mourned for a long time. After this, she had the desire to be with members of her own species, parting ways with her adoptive pack, promising to meet again. She made a long trek from the mountains and through the coniferous forest before encountering Midnight. She joined the pack immediately, becoming a pupsitter in anticipation for the upcoming pups.
