A stray pup from the north,
his pack nowhere to be found.
A lone fawn he befriended,
together they traveled around.

Like sparrows, ages flew.
A blizzard stroke the forest
in which they both grew.
Snow covered the grounds,
silenced the livings' sounds.

Deep in the pale shadows,
the deer knelt.
With his flesh he would provide,
with his blood he could survive.

From the far north,
a wolf reached this land.
He sings a lonely song,
which none could understand.

But along such song,
the ruined land mends.
Life sprouts under his paws,
birds chirp with his howl.

They say he was the chosen of Naturas,
the goddess of nature herself.
They joined him in his song,
wolves from far beyond.

A stray wolf he is no more,
yet he could not hear what he is looking for.
A song that ended long ago,
in the depth of the unmelting snow.
