Training lessons:

SPD 3 hours:
During the lesson: Leaves? Rocks? Underbrush? Twisted tree stump? Eroded slope? Kaylo learned to use any environment and its features to camouflage successfully.

Str 3 hours:
During the lesson: In the lesson, Kaylo balanced on a pointy, narrow rock and tried not to let his paws slip off. Learning how to keep your balance on rough terrain can be difficult, but Patch assured Kaylo that it is necessary if he wants to be a successful scout.

Agil 3 hours:
During the lesson: Kaylo felt that he was almost ready to try a real hunt and begged Tansy to let him. She listened and explained that no matter how talented a pup may be, everyone had to train until they were old enough to move on.

Wis 3 hours:
During the lesson: Pumpkin showed Kaylo how to properly put herbs together to make a medicine, and how much of each. Kaylo copied Pumpkin while she explained what each herb is good for when combined with another.

Smr 3 hours:
During the lesson: The lesson today focused on relaying information accurately among pack members. Kaylo sat with several other pups as they whispered the same sentence around the circle and tried to keep it the same, but when it came back to Pumpkin it was hilariously different than when it started.

Agil 2 hours:
During the lesson: Kaylo sniffed the ground, focused on the task. There were so many tempting scents around but Kaylo ignored them and quickly found a herb that was shown during the lesson and brought it to Cirrus.

Smr 2 hour:
During the lesson: Kaylo tested out some killing techniques on the carcass. Fey explained which methods take the most strength, but are also the quickest, which saves energy and spares the prey from suffering.
