Autsch I

Gigabyte I was trudging around the muddy Taiga, scouting out a new area for his pack to possibly take residence in. There was a storm raging overhead, and the ominous clouds threatened to rain. "Huh, what's that smell?" He tilted his nose up, and near him, there was a prominent odour of blood.
Must just be a downed caribou, I can smell wolves nearby. He thought to himself.
But there was something else.
Almost impossible to hear, something small, wolf-sounding, and wolf-smelling, yipped. It came from inside a log, and when Gigabyte I quietly woofed back, a tiny pup stumbled out.

It sat in front of him, shivering, soaked with blood, but still wagging it's tail ever so slightly.
Gigabyte I took a look at the pup, and whispered softly "You are going to be one special pup."
