Lore (optional):Haze kept her eyes trained on her surroundings. The forest around her was eerie, usually silence was because there was a predator around but the biome was never this silent.
She heard the sound of leaves crunching beside her and she turned to see an adult wolf standing by a lake's perimeter. Their fur was moving in weird ways, changing shape and pattern, like water filling an empty space.
She stared into their eyes black ink with dark blue irises staring into her. In all fairness they seemed more curious and friendly than malicious.
They took a step toward her and the silence was broken, suddenly the crickets, the owls, and the forest were alive once more.
She jumped as she turned back, realizing the wolf was much closer than before. Taking a step back, she kept her eyes trained on them as she put distance between them.
They seemed just as startled. "Oh i'm sorry, did i scare you?" They asked, "my named Orca" if it helps."
"It does, a bit at least," she responded, "my name's Haze." The black, white, and blue wolf nodded. They watched the sky like a hawk then turned back to the water.
They took a bag made of leaves and sticks and dipped it into the water, pulling up a small portion. Orca turned to the trees behind her and smiled. As Haze turned, a wolf appeared from the same direction. She looked between them before nodding, Haze looked at Orca who gestured for her to go with the other wolf.
Hesitantly, she did. Maybe it was because she was too tired to walk any longer. The other wolf walked through shadows and sometimes disappeared from view. Her fur reminded her of the lunar creatures that showed themself once a month.
Haze froze when they slipped beneath a waterfall, the roar was anything but peaceful. She followed, amazed at how she could barely hear it from inside a large cave, littered with gems. Maybe it wasn't to bad to stay here for a bit.
