During the lesson: Snapping Heather sat calmly as she supervised Silver pup's first attempts to chase a lizard. He did his best, but the urge to play was stronger than anything and he showed promise but still had room to improve.
During the lesson with Snapping Heather: Dappled-Valley learned that specific plant parts do different things, and how only taking certain bits that the pack needs for remedies won't damage the entire plant. This will conserve resources and allow the plant to be used in the future.
During the lesson: Snapping Heather used a few distracting scents to tempt Ciqala as they practiced. A successful scout needs to have a will strong enough to stay on the right track no matter what, even if they are hungry.
During the lesson with Snapping Heather & Amina, the Young Witch Queen today: The lesson today included effective snarling, biting at the air with extra loose saliva, and pretend-biting each other's faces while making as many awkward gurgling noises as possible. Apparently this really makes other animals tremble in fear!
During the lesson: Dinilchííʼ almost felt guilty when she admitted that she could not find the toy this time, but Snapping Heather nodded in approval, and explained that it was because she did not actually hide anything during this lesson and it had been a test.
During the lesson: Amina, the Young Witch Queen, felt that she was almost ready to try a real hunt and begged Snapping Heather to let her. She listened and explained that no matter how talented a pup may be, everyone had to train until they were old enough to move on.
During the lesson: Pale-Coyote had some problems with drawing a line between teamwork and playtime with his littermates. Snapping Heather was serious when they told them that bonding and working together were not the same thing.
