Kanuna once traversed the coniferous woodlands with a group of bridled weasels at his heels. After the wolf saved them from a hungry owl, they taught him how to use his cunning and charm to get his way, and the true meaning of family.

He had eventually moved on, and after being discovered during a patrol was invited into the Waya Tribe. He has since been promoted to being the overseer of the hunt, where he makes sure every pursuit goes smoothly. His wit and understanding of which wolves synergize with each other best aids the Waya Tribe in their hunting ventures.
