Lore Entry (Optional): Spoiler Lana pushed her way through the undergrowth. Once she was on the other side, she made her way down a slope towards the center of the forest.
All kinds of creatures were scampering around the forest. Some watched with wary gazes. The forest was alive despite the cold of winter.
She froze as the forest went silent, her mind began to race with what creature had quieted the forest.
A wolf stared down at her, their eyes seeming to glow. They looked strange compared to the irises of anything else. Not to mention, the patches on their body were moving and changing.
"Hello," they spoke with a calm demeanor, and as the eerie silence began to fade, so did her worry. Lana dipped her head in greeting, "hi!".
"Are you a traveler? If so you can rest up at my camp for a while," they explained. Lana felt relieved, she had been walking for hours.
The wolf Orca, led her through more brush and undergrowth as they neared the lake. It was a huge body of water connected to a bunch of rivers that seemed to span for miles.
Orca led her past the lake towards the center of the other side. They jumped on a tree that had fallen across the water. Orca moved with grace and speed as she neared the farthest branches.
Then to Lana's astonishment, she pushed herself with her back legs and landed safely on the other side. Orca was amused at the others amazement, "come on, it's not that far"
Closing her eyes, Lana took a head start and followed Orca's example. She pushed with her back legs at the last moment and landed safely on the other side.
Orca seemed amused as she led Lana up another slope and across the edge of a steep cliffside.
The patched wolf dropped to a lower ledge and slipped beneath an angry waterfall. Lana followed and was amazed to find a huge system of gemstone caves.
