Pumpkin Seed

Pumpkin Seed is the first pup to be born to Spice and Pumpkin. A thriving young thing, she was the only one to survive her mother’s litter of five, and remains strong even in her adolescence. She seems to be the best of her parents: dutiful and understanding of her responsibilities, while remaining sweetly optimistic of her and her pack’s future, she is the “perfect heir”. 

As an adult, Pumpkin Seed has grown into her looks. Resembling her mother more than her father, she has a short coat of golds and oranges, and browns aplenty. Her eyes, on the other hand, are wholly her own: a deep blue, fierce but calming all at once.

Charged with the responsibility of leading her own patrol (her, Clifford, Garrus, Sunlight, and Jaimie), she is on the path of learning how to lead her pack in the future. Her father, when not busy with his own patrols and pack business, will teach her lessons; and her mother will tell her of the lands beyond their mountainous territory, deserts and swamps and tundras.

Pumpkin Seed, while loved by the others, is also seen as a bit of a hard ass. She takes her responsibilities seriously and it has not won her many friends among her younger peers in the long run. Her future mate, Garrus, feels the same, but they still remain undeniably close — he balances her out with his warm, inviting nature, and cannot be found very far from her. They are the closest friends.

As mentioned before, that cannot be said for everyone else. For the members of her patrol, Clifford tolerated her by trying to make the best out of their situations, but they cannot be called friends; Sunlight, in her perpetual laziness, is often at odds with Pumpkin, causing many fights and bad blood between the two; and Jaimie is Jaimie, happy go lucky like Clifford but overprotective of his little sister Sun. He is the only one that truly challenges her, and Pumpkin Seed envies his familial relationship with his sibling.
