Aphrodite started as a brilliant chaser whose talent was overshadowed by her ditzy disposition. However, well into her career as a hunter, her mother (Rhea) made the mysterious choice to transition her to the scout role. She wasn't too upset- her hunting party was for the most part unpleasant, which the exception of Hades. Phanes wasn't particularly friendly, either, but it was rare that she had to work with him. Rhea dropped a bomb on the pack the night before she died. Aphrodite's brother, Hypnos, was the popular pick for leader- everybody expected him to be chosen. He was calm, dedicated, and hardworking. But, Aphrodite was chosen as the suitor, and before the pack could voice their dismay, Rhea passed.
Now that Aphrodite has settled into her new position, she commands more respect from her packmates, who are much more willing to listen to her now than they were before. However, she was also older than most when she became leader, and she is already beginning to slow down...
