Biography

You spot CedarSnow relaxing with their eyes closed but they snap awake when they see you. They bring you something from their well-kept stash and say that they stumbled upon it and thought of you.

Utilising a toy and each other, puppies will be taught correct ambushing methods to build valuable life skills.

During the lesson: CedarSnow learned a camouflage technique today - rolling in mud, dirt and herbivore poop distracted _*_ || Shikra enough to steal the toy from under her paws! _*_ || Shikra congratulated him on his cleverness.

Puppies will be taught how to tussle safely with one another.

During the lesson: _*_ || Shikra suffered the consequences of her own idea for jaw muscle training. For about half of the class, CedarSnow pulled on her tail as they couldn't find any good branches to practice on.

Packs are more successful when the members in them work together. The lead wolf takes the helm in this lesson, schooling puppies on how to compromise and work together in a team.

During the lesson: DarkFern did perfectly while she was paired with her best buddy. Things changed when { ♔ ☽ Luna ☾ ♔ } asked her to work with another pup and step out of her comfort zone.

Learning the basics of how to find your way is especially important, and will be taught to puppies by an established scout in an intensive lesson.

During the lesson: Relying on smell won't always help you find your way, and CedarSnow and BlackRose listened to _*_ || Shikra's lecture about using the position of the sun and the moon when scouting. CedarSnow along with BlackRose couldn't wait to test their skills.

Puppies will be taught how to kill prey effectively including correct bite techniques, practising with a carcass.

During the lesson: ⚘ | LilacDance explained to CedarSnow that with bigger prey, you can wound them in vulnerable areas so that they are easier to take down. CedarSnow mimicked where she bit the carcass near the belly and ankles.

It's not all about hunting, fighting, scouting and foraging - puppies need to learn manners, too!

During the lesson: _*_ || ⚘ | RiverStep asked the class to prepare tiny gifts today for every packmate and practice graciousness even if the gift is rejected. CedarSnow enjoyed getting to know his packmates better through the gift giving.
