Lycan was adopted at a young age and though his new parents loved him dearly... they didn't always get along. They were constantly arguing and eventually broke their pair bond. Despite their dislike of each other, they co-parent well now that they're no longer a couple.
When Lycan came of age, he almost left the pack but was convinced by his mother to stay. He had trained to become a Chaser and so he joined the Swift Hunters. Another Chaser, Rick Grimes, had retired to the Elders Den that same day.
Lycan now hunts alongside his father.
