Caonach is a pretty ordinary wolf. No royalty in his genes or mutations in his lineage. There isn't much extraordinary about the little wolf.

As an apprentice, he had taken on the task of learning everything he could about scouting. He fell in love with exploring the world out there. Meeting strange new wolves and discovering the old stories of their pack and their wolves.

Now old enough to care for himself, he has been entrusted to travel the lands and learn stories from different packs across the globe, and he couldn't wait.

Lore!!: "Why is it so cold-!?" Caonach complains, walking in 3 foot deep snow, his paws hurting from frost bite.
"Maybe because this is the Glacier?" A wolf jumps into the snow, standing next to Caonach now. The wolf's tail slightly wags, their ears perked up.
"Who are you?" Caonach stops moving and stares at the unknown wolf.
"I'm Fork.. it's a nickname.." Fork's ears slightly droop, his tail no longer wagging.
"Fork..? Well, I'm Caonach, a traveller wolf-" Caonach gets cut off before he could say anything else.
"A traveller wolf! Why don't you hang with me? We can go explore together!" Fork's ears perk up again, his tail pushing snow around as his tail wags.
"Sure..?" Caonach's own tail starts to wag a bit.

Fork and Caonach explore the Glacier and Tundra, finding feathers and bones to bring back to Fork's leader..
As the two explore Fork tells Caonach stories about his pack,
About the wolf that can control wolves and the land around them by singing,
About the wolf who greets the dead and takes them to their final resting place,
About the lunar wolf who acts like a brat..
All of these stories gain Caonach's attention, learning about how abnormal this pack is, and how they don't care about how you look or act like, everyone is loved there.

After a long day of exploring the two are sitting in an open field that isn't as packed with ice and snow as the rest. It's night in the Glacier.. calm and quiet..
"That seems like a dream" Caonach looks at the northern lights in the night sky.
"It is.. I didn't think I would fit in but Bear found me a place. And a good place at that, I still get to do what I love-"
"Exploring?" Caonach cuts him off, finishing off his sentence,
"Yeah.. exploring" Fork smiles and looks at the northern lights too, shuffling closer to Caonach to keep him warm.

After a few days Caonach has to leave but he will never forget the Glacier..

Lore: Night led Caonach to a small cave at the end of the camp, introducing him to the scouts of the fog pack. Root warmly welcomed him. He took iber the role of scout from Comet since she was happy to give it up for the time Caonach would be staying. Root led Caonach out of the camp later that day, and the two deaprted as Caonach left to explore the rainforest.

On the first of December, Caonach came home. Only temporary but for the coming winter solstice he decided to pay his home pack a visit.

Things had changed dramatically since hed last been home. His old tutor Hermes was the first to greet him when he noticed his young student. Caonach felt a similar excitement to be back home. A gaggle of pups swarmed him, begging for stories he had from far off packs and of course he indulged in their curiosity.

He later found out an old friend, Fenix had recently passed away and many of the wolves he'd grown up with were long gone. It was strange, getting accustomed to hoe familiar yet stark everything was at home. The old deer trails he used to follow on his apprenticeship when scouting. The herbalist, now a different face to bring back the herbs he managed to sneak back. The mentors all frosted faced yet unfamilair to him. He was glad that many of his old packmates remained yet still felt so out of place in a place he used to call home.

He was secretely longing for his next adventure in some new pack yet to be discovered by him.
