Biography
by Kuroshi #44154
Almost all black, with a few dark colors peaking through, you really can't see this wolf until he's upon you. He only cares about a few things: his mate, his friends and the future of his pack. When this wolf cares, he cares. Nothing stands between him and those things. He doesn't care about anyone else's feelings, or thoughts unless they are related to those two things. If it is, you better take a step back, and make sure you can see him clearly. Blackened Oats is not a wolf that will just let you sit by and talk badly about things that he cares about, no matter how few those things are. He is protective, slightly possessive, and is not afraid to make the first move when he attacks you. When he does attack you, you better be prepared to either lay there and take it, or defend yourself and possibly lose your life. Blackened Oats is a lethal wolf, who simply does not care. You could cry and plead, and he still wouldn't budge after he's made his decision. That's all there is to it, and that is all it will ever be. Nothing will come between him, and the ones he cares about deeply.
This wolf constantly has birds around him. Wherever he goes, they know they will get food, whether it be meat, or simply picking at the ground and eating whatever is there. The birds are one of the few things that he does not mind in his personal space. They stay quiet, flying above him all the time, and peck at anything that causes Blackened Oats trouble, but they stay out of fights for fear they will get hurt. Birds are small, usually peaceful, quiet creatures, but they always find a way to help those who help them. There are many birds that are always around: ducks, bluebirds, robins, small finches. They all know that they can trust Blackened Oats because he doesn't mind them. As long as they don't bother him, he will never mind them.
Birds are not the only thing that this wolf has around him. He also has two blue bracelets that he wears all the time. The reason? He won't tell anyone. Most have just figured that it's a fashion choice, but some believe that the stones have power. The pack is connected to the lunar dream field, and therefore it wouldn't be out of the norm for them to have some sort of power. Lunar stones are special, and only show when they are in that dream field. The bright blue colors blink like lights when it's dark outside. It's one of the most memorable and beautiful things around. The place where this pack is placed, they have access to the real world, and the dream world. It's one of the many plus sides of being where they are. Besides that, they have the most beautiful scenery, including the rocks that Blackened Oat's bracelets are made out of.
This wolf has very few friends. Some might not even consider themselves friends because of how aggressive this wolf is, but rather call themselves allies. You never want to be on the wrong side of this wolf. Even if you don't like how he does anything, but don't stand against him, he will leave you alone. One of the few things he cares about is his mate: Wilting Roses. A lovely wolf with a speckle of color just like himself. The only difference is that her color is much lighter than his, meaning you can see her better as well. She wears matching blue moon-stone bracelets, but the similarities in their jewelry end there. She has a crown she wears atop her head, with a beautiful collar with an attachment on her waist. Along with matching jewelry, they alone have similar markings in their fur. She is the light to his dark, the peace to his violence, and everything else in between. Nothing can stand before either one of them because they care too much about one another. Besides Blackened Oat's mate, there is one other that is proud to call themselves his friend. That brave wolf is: Bleeding Blue Ice.
Bleeding Blue Ice is much older than Blackened Oats, and his mate, Wilting Roses. A lovely wolf, often decorated with pink roses, she is gentle and kind, taking care of the puppies around her for her pack. She's always preferred them over the elder wolves anyway, and that's how she became close with Blackened Oats. He values her friendship, and wisdom above all else. He will value her when he becomes alpha, and will continue to acknowledge her wisdom, taking it into account whenever he can. He may be a violent, and ruthless wolf, but he knows when to listen. This wolf is one of a kind. He can treat you like you mean nothing, but at the end of the day, he can and will do what's best for his pack, friends, and mate. Everything in his life can try and force it's way between the things he cares about and himself, but he will stand like a brick wall and let nothing move past him. Especially when it's his mate; He will live and die for his love. Blackened Oats will stand on the ground that his love will continue to be there until the day that he dies. His pack will also be there, standing beside him, like he did them. He may lead them, but it is a special bond that allows them to stand beside him in his times of need.
In the end, you can see Blackened Oats as one thing, or another. The loyalty inside this wolf, unwavering, or the ruthlessness merciless. Both are true, but some only see one or another. It takes a true friend and wolf to see that he can be both without a problem. You can be a million things but people will only see one thing as well.
In a land full of dreams, you can only get so far before you are forced to awaken from your never ending paradise. From the bright glowing rocks that look like the brightest blue ocean, to the sand beneath wolves' paws that feels silky smooth to the touch. Everything can happen in this dream land, and when you awaken, most people are disappointed to know that what happens there cannot also happen in the real world. That is not the truth where the future leader, Blackened Oats, lives.
The land where his pack presides, the bright-blue stones are part of their reality, as well as their dreams. The two planes mix, and it's nothing new for certain things to happen that wouldn't usually happen in a place where they don't mix. His future pack has always enjoyed this aspect, as it allows them to see and do things different than any other wolf had. There is only one downfall of this though: they have to protect their peace from every other wolf trying to steal it for themselves. Whether the wolves are good or bad, they could never use thin planar fields to their advantage because they would end up messing something up. This is part of the reason why Blackened Oats had been patrolling the area, making sure that no wolves were trying to take what his pack cherished the most.
"...." The future alpha was quiet, walking around gently to avoid breaking any sticks, or moving any rocks. This would alert potential intruders to his location, and thus ruin everything. That's if there was a wolf on his land.
He froze for a moment, hearing a stick crack and break behind him. He didn't know who it was, so when he turned around baring his teeth, a small squirrel squeaked. In a moment's notice, it ran up a tree to safety, a bigger squirrel appearing at its side as if it was a protector. Blackened Oats shook his head, and eventually his body to get rid of the adrenaline rush he got from thinking he had an enemy behind him. When another stick cracked though, and he knew it wasn't the squirrels, he moved his head back and forth, looking for the thing that could've broken it.
"Hello?" Blackened Oats growled lowly, "Who's there?" He heard a small squeak, and narrowed his eyes where he heard the sound, "Come out so I can see you," He snapped.
A small pup emerged from the bushes, keeping its ears and head close to the ground. It was so close that the tip of the pup's chin would scratch the plants and rocks that he walked over, "I- I didn't mean to make so much noise- I just.. Got lost.."
Blackened Oats tilted his head at the pup, and his eyes narrowed more, "You are not from my pack, now are you?"
"I- I-" The pup stumbled over its words trying to think a way out of this conversation, although it wasn't easy, "I am-" He finally murmured out, almost too quiet for Blackened Oats to hear.
"No. you're not. I met with all the pups this morning because they keep getting into trouble," Blackened Oats said with a blank face, "Why try to lie when I know the truth?"
"It was worth a shot," The pup shrugged off his words like it was nothing, even though Blackened Oats could have removed him from the territory without any problem.
"Lesson number one, don't ever lie to me," Blackened Oats snapped at him lightly.
"O-oh okay-" The pup stumbled over its words, thinking about how to get out of the situation that he was currently in.
"Lesson number two," Blackened Oats paused for a moment, thinking of what he was going to say, "You tell me everything that I need to know,"
"What do you need to know?" The pup tilted his head, his ears going back as he felt threatened. He didn't know what was going to happen, or if he would survive this because he didn't know Blackened Oats, or how he was. He knew absolutely nothing about how this situation would go.
"Where are you from? Are you a spy?" Blackened Oats started to question the small pup, but snapped his head back when he heard another wolf step on a twig behind him. He bared his teeth, snarling until he saw who it was. A beautiful wolf, who he instantly calmed down for. His one true mate, Wilting Roses.
"Lovely," She said calmly, "You can't simply question a scared pup," She walked around Blackened Oats, looking at the pup, blinking slowly.
"Hello there.." The pup took a step back from the mates, more confused on how this situation was going to go for him.
"You have to let him get comfortable," Wilting Roses smiled lightly, "Then you can ask him all the questions you want."
"..." Blackened Oats looked at the love of his life for a moment, "What if he's a-"
"He's small. Weak. scared, and nervous," She interrupted him, "how much of a problem could he ever be?"
"Good point.." Blackened Oats murmured, and looked at the pup, "Lost, correct?"
"Yes- i am- why-?" The pup kept his ears back, and kept his distance from the two older wolves."Come with us," Blackened Oats told him. He had a tone that told the other two wolves that this wasn't up for discussion.
"Where are we bringing him?" Wilting Roses asked her mate, tilting her head with curiosity.
"Home," Blackened Oats simply said, turning around and walking through the woods.
"Oh-" The pup blinked, stunned for a second. "How far is it?"
"A little ways away," Wilting Roses said with a smile on her face. The group of three walked for at least a mile of two, and once Blackened Oats stepped into the opening with beautiful glowing stones all around and green everywhere. He looked down at the pup, who had a face of wonder while looking at the scenery, "This is home."
