Edom was the smallest pup in his litter and his mother had always been rather protective of him. She tended to hover and fret.
Edom had always been a dreamer with his eyes focused on the stars. He could never sit still and was always restless, his mother Arrow had her paws full, but she loved him so much. She always told him he would do great things and he believed her everytime.
When Edom and his brother Ikaris were young, Alpha Lumi of the Hale Stone pack came to visit. Lumi was very popular amongst the pups, Edom specifically.
Arrow could see her youngest son's eyes brighten whenever Lumi spoke of her adventures and all the things she had seen. Deep in her heart, she knew Edom's destiny lay outside of the Thunder Oak Pack. It would break her heart to see him go but she knew he would be happier and that was all she ever wanted was for her sons to be happy.
She could see it in the way Edom behaved, it was as if his soul were on the verge of flying. She did not want to keep him in a proverbial cage all his life.
She had a long talk with Edom and eventually gave her son her blessing. Alpha Damon spoke with Alpha Lumi, and Lumi agreed to take the pup back with her to the Hale Stone Pack. There he would be raised and well cared for and eventually grow into a wolf his mother, and his new pack, could be proud of.
