Storms Edge is a private breeding line project, which is now let out to the public. Goal is that every wolf in the pedigree is named as "Something" of Storms Edge. The idea is to see for how many full generations one can breed - and at the side offer rare formerly unseen longer lineages for other breeders. If you have obtained this wolf, it is out of the Storms Edge project. It would be hightly appreciated if you kept the project name for the pedigree building purposes.
If you want to have some challenge and breed with the same idea:
- Try to breed as whole pedigrees as possible: avoid pairing G2 to G1.
Ie. G4 wolf has all the lineage slots filled in its pedigree up to its great Grandparents.
- See that the names are just clean names in the pedigree
No emojis, no special letters or notes such as "[NBW] Spótty💎TIII"!
- No inbreeding
Duh.
- Avoid the most popular (matador) studs
If there is hundreds of puppies bred out of the stud, it is a matador stud*
*Matador studs are in many pedigrees, thus making it difficult to find suitable wolves to pair with your own without the risk of inbreeding. Finding a pedigree without a matador is more difficult the more full generations you are building under your wolf lineages.
