Zente

Zente is of typical height for a wolf, though it's easy to underestimate his size thanks to his scrawny build. He has a very long coat, but his coat is thin. He always wears his royal garb and its associated accessories.

Born to a large pack in the coniferous forest, Zente didn't have an envious upbringing. His mother was of low rank, and she passed when he was young, so Zente received very little care and even fewer privileges. Being physically weak compared to his peers Zente struggled to find a foothold in the competitive, war-driven pack. He found some solace with an equally ostracised mercenary, who took Zente under their wing and decided to train him. Learning to rely more on his wit than his strength, Zente became surprisingly adept at fighting. As an adolescent he entered into a combat tourney, much to the packs amusement, but he quickly distinguished himself and surprised everyone by coming out on top.

The pack leader was particularly impressed by his performance, and he made the impromptu decision to adopt Zente and name him his heir. Zente revelled in the attention for a while, but soon enough resentment began to shimmer. How dare they have underestimated him, how dare they have laughed at him. He took advantage of his position for a moment, learning all he could from the pack leader, but on the cusp of the pack's annual Dawnlight celebrations he decided for himself that he would found a new pack, one to rival his home. Goading the pack's most promising guard cadet, Piroska, into accompanying him, the two departed without a word.

The two travelled north, recruiting Renegade, Mauro, and Braelyn along the way. A harsh winter forced them to turn back south however, leading to them stumbling across Cwm Tondau.

Zente is extremely arrogant. Though he is talented, he will often far over extend himself, if not to make a point then just to show off. He's a little awkward in his mannerisms, seemingly never quite sure how to hold himself or speak to others - despite this he has an air of sophistication to him. As abrasive as he may be, he's also honest. He's always upfront with his intentions, communicates clearly, and believes underhanded tactics to be below him. He's very extreme in his expressions, as he makes little effort to restrain his voice or gesticulations.

Zente has a dulcet voice and speaks in a witty manner.

Zente identifies as cisgender (he/him) and bisexual. He does not currently have a pairbond.
