Switch, for most of his early life, was mocked and distrusted for his heterochromia, which many a wolf associated with witchery or demons. Arora, recognizing his plight, took him in and gave him a role as a hunter. Inspired by Apatite and Bismuth, he asked Arora if he could wander also, despite his troublesome past. She agreed, inspiring the tradition for all the wolves of Goldstar pack to wander the world, only returning home to visit and catch up with the other wanders, or to stay permanently as an elder, teaching the next generation of wanders.
