Calanthe

Calanthe was welcomed into the pack when she was too young to really remember what had happened to her original family. Being a runt, she was small and weak, much to the concern of Maketes. Putting his faith in the Earthmother, he hoped she would make it through the season as she struggled to eat and grow.

One night, Calanthe awoke to a strange sound just outside her den. Curious, she stepped outside to find a silver-coated wolf waiting for her. This was no one she had met before. The strange canine introduced himself as Mys, and offered to train her in the art of medicine. She agreed. From then on, she would often wake in the middle of the night to find him waiting, and the two would wander off under the moonlight to complete their lessons.

Once she grew old enough, she found her strength in being the pack's healer, something that Maketes has given her great praise for. Though, she has never seen Mys again...
