During the lesson: In the lesson today, Quxi and Ipa learned how strategy can be useful when hunting in a group and trying to chase a big prey animal like Balin pretended to be. With group coordination and a perfectly timed call, Ipa was able to tackle the pretend-elk to the ground.
During the lesson: Blu placed a toy between herself and Quxi. She showed her where to position herself to catch the prey while Blu flushed the prey toward her.
During the lesson: Quxi leapt powerfully at Blu and went for the thick fur under her neck. Blu was faster and swatted Quxi away, growling that going for the underside of the neck is only for killing, not for play.
