It wasn't Fanya's idea to become a leader. No she was far from even thinking about recruiting others, and settling down.
Who would want that? To be stuck in a single place.
No!
That wasn't the life that called to her. At least that's what she had believed before she came across Tala, and a strange quiet looking wolf beside her.
Tala had helped her out during her travels of this vast land. In fact Tala knew her pretty well. Enough to find her with this stranger and talk her into joining them. It was a simple encounter that would change her life forever.

Fanya sat in absolute silence. Staring at the trees above her. Watching and waiting. Counting the seconds until...
*boink-boink.*
There it was! Not just one, but TWO acorns. Her tail wagged furiously. Scooping up both acorns in her paws quickly. She was gathering them for a deal with a weasel. Tempting her with a food bundle. Of course those were always a gamble, but who wouldn't trust a weasel?! She was sure it was a trusty weasel anyways... pretty sure.
As she second guessed her soon to be-deal with a weasel her ears tuned in to a very specific crunching sound. It was the sound of very obvious steps along the forest floor. She kept her ears alert and sniffed the air. It was clear they weren't trying to hide themselves. Though one seemed familiar. She stayed alert. Standing her ground. Unwavering ready to face the approaching smell.
At the very least she knew they were female. Just as soon as she realized their gender. The single unrecognizable scent became clear.
"Tala." Fanya tightened up. Not in fear, but rather the thrill of an oncoming friend. Her tail beat fast. That only lasted a second though. As soon as Tala came into view. Her beautiful slick black fur was outshun by a colorful stranger right behind her.
That dark fur with such warm patterns coating along it. As if you had no choice but to notice it's whole. She was unwavering but held a serious and willful aura.
As Fanya examined the unknown wolfs every aspect. Tala never took her eyes off the goal that led her here. As was obvious in the unnamed wolves eyes. Staring her down. She felt herself pause.
*Determination. Excitement. And an unspeakable understanding. All three of them felt these exact emotions before a word was spoken.*
"Go ahead Bel'Fin! Introduce yourself!" Tala shook Fanya's entire core. Unexpecting to hear anyone's voice. So focused on the individual in front of her. Who now magically has a name. '"Bel'fin" She mumbled in a whisper. As she did, she felt her tail wag just a little. At getting to hear the others voice.
