Buzzard explained to Bramble how wet fur is not a good idea, especially in the winter. She demonstrated how to find rocks and dry patches to cross a creek or a river instead of swimming across it.
Today the lesson included effective snarling, biting at the air with extra loose saliva, and pretend-biting each other's faces while making as many awkward gurgling noises as possible. Apparently this really makes other animals tremble in fear!
Enclave Puppy leapt powerfully at Okapi and went for the thick fur under her neck. Okapi was faster and swatted Enclave Puppy away, growling that going for the underside of the neck is only for killing, not for play.
