Surina

As her appearance suggests, Surina is a half-dragon- daughter of Jevras, Champion of the Deeps, and Thava, a she-wolf with a connection to wild magicks. Thava was always a wanderer, but spent many years with Jevras, who had won her heart. As Thava grew old, they had their first and only child together, Surina. Thava died only a few months after, and Jevras centered his whole life around Surina.
Surina knows he loves her, but he was always too overbearing. Overprotective. She couldn't take it anymore- she had her mother's desire to wander. Her father was alright with it, somewhat, but always wanted to travel with her. Which was fine- he could polymorph himself to fit in. But he didn't know how to interact with others very well, often stealing and occasionally killing. She began to understand why wolves didn't like dragons. So one day, she ran off. She travelled for a while, making sure to lay low. But she always her rumors of when her father was getting closer, and she knew she needed a way to shield herself.
She heard rumors of a wolf possessing powerful magic unlike was seen in her southern homelands, a wolf named Nessus. She thought maybe they were just a rumor, but she found them and sought shelter. Nessus is currently trying to find a way to permanently shield her from being tracked, without relying on staying within a certain area. But this is taking a while. Surina is growing restless, and Jevras is getting ever closer.

Merlen was born to a wolf very new to the Morrow's Peak Pack; she was pregnant when she joined, and fleeing from something that she could never fully explain. Her mother has never even told anyone her name; it's a surprise that this pack even let her stay. But she has assisted with pupsitting, and is skilled at it, so they found her useful enough.
When Merlen was born, no one knew of her powers; in fact, her mother had no idea she had this mutation within her bloodline. But as soon as Merlen was old enough to speak, her mother's place was secured, as Divina vouched for Merlen and Merlen refused to be parted from her mother. Lord Artemys knows that her bloodline carries these inherent powers, so she agreed to give Merlen her family name and a permanent place within the pack, if she agreed to training from Divina. And what other choice did she have?
Since then, she has allied with a crow who escaped from the lunar realm. The monarch gave this crow permission to stay as long as he assisted the oracle and her apprentice. The crow simply goes by C.
