Threyja was nearby the beta, swaying his tail side to side as he glanced around the forest carefully for any herbs. He yawned for a few seconds, before lifting his nose to see and smell if there was any herbs they needed nearby, before starting to head in a different direction. 		spg

noir - underworld realm - herbalist

the island has herbs, used in remedies for common injuries and illnesses. that's not something they're used to. this will certainly make their job easier, they think. their ability usually lets them get by just fine, but utilizing it is a tricky job and time consuming, not to mention draining. they reach out to snap a few stems with their teeth, adding the tansy to the little bundle they've already gathered.

there's a sudden crunch of leaves underpaw and noir lifts his head, ears alert, as the sound approaches. a young wolf steps out from the underbrush and startles slightly as it catches sight of them. noir stays where he is and simply tilts his head as he sizes it up.

"well, well. now what do we have here?" his voice is soft but carries a hint of threat.

Threyja - Forest Pack - Herbalist in training

The sandy-reddish wolf's head lifted up, along with his tail, when Threyja heard the voice. He turns it's head to where it heard the voice, lowering his tail slightly at the sight of another wolf. It blinks, bright blue eyes viewing the stranger with instant pup-like curiosity. He looked behind the wolf for a few seconds, trying to smell if there were any others nearby, before deciding to respond to the stranger.

"Me? Oh! I'm Threyja. What's a stranger like you doing alllll the way in the forest?" Threyja slightly grins, more of an invitation of a conversation than an interrogating question, dragging out the l' in all on purpose.

She watched the young herbalist in training wonder off. She knew that they were going to make a great herbalist. She had thought about being one when she was younger, but there were other things wanted to also do

Like every other day, she searched round her territory. She had been doing this for over a year now, in hope to find any clues of the underworld, or even find it.

noir blinks, then gives a little smile at the pup's innocence. looks like it really has no idea what they are. they sit, settling into a more relaxed position. a few blades of grass wilt when his tail sweeps over them.

"my name is noir. you really shouldn't be out here all alone, young one. don't you know that you shouldn't talk to strangers? as for what i'm doing, the same as you, it seems. i'm simply gathering herbs to take care of my pack."

ah, it didn't seem to be alone after all. he can detect the scent of another wolf on the wind, but it will be a while, a few minutes perhaps, before they get here.

She then remembered that she was not meant to let the young wolf out of her sight at all times. As much as she wanted to keep searching, she knew she had to do the right thing.
But when she sniffed the air for the young wolf, she picked up another wolf scent, but it didn't smell like normal. So, she instantly started to follow after where the young wolf had went.

Threyja grinned ecstatically when they heard the other wolf was also gathering herbs, deciding to sit when it noticed Noir sit down. He didn't really notice the grass going away, but tried his best to not get distracted by a nearby butterfly. It was a yellow butterfly! But he had to stay still. He wanted to learn more about the other wolf.

"Woaha! Very cool name!" It continued to grin, speaking quite quickly and a tad bit too loud. "Me too, I'm also gathering herbs! Are you also an herbalist?? That'd be so cool! And uh, you're not a stranger now to me! I know your name, and you know mine, so we aren't strangers. We know each other now! Well, I'm pretty sure that's how it works."

The young wolf seemed happy to meet someone new for the first time, as he mostly already knew most of the other wolves in his pack, since he was the herbalist and had to take care of them. Threyja's tail quickly thumped on the floor, slightly moving his front paws side to side out of glee. 		spg
