not a stupid question at all, it is a little confusing and complicated lol
scroll all the way down on your profile page to "tag url", this is where you'll paste your 150x150 (dimensions) image link
so find the image you want as pfp, resize it to be 150x150 (i use photoshop but theres definitely online converters somewhere out there), save the 150x150 image, go to imgur, upload the image, then 'copy image address', paste it into 'tag url' on your profile page
