GUYS I had an idea, lmk what you think.

What if there is a celestial event on the day of the Four Horsemen meeting? Specifically a solar eclipse in the day or lunar/blood moon at night, fully visible in their area.

That would be a really cool idea! It could be like a beacon in a way. Now everyone in the 'know' knows something is going on since there was no forewarning about any sort of event. It would let the demons know they needed to be on their A-game and for the angels to know they need to get their butts in gear.

That's an incredible idea! I like it, plus I'd think it'd add to the all the ambiance and the four horseman finally meeting each other in person…

I'm also sorry I haven't said anything in the rp recently. I had a few things come up suddenly IRL that have kept me from really getting on and reading everyone's messages so far! 		spooks.27

It's okay spooks! There's no time limit as far as I know (@Alcarie pls correct me if I'm wrong)? As long as we all get a chance, we should be good. The only reason I was able to post today was because I couldn't sleep last night; I've been writing bits and pieces over the past few days but then the ideas all come at once as soon as I tried to get some sleep lol.
I haven't felt so inspired in a while, and reading everyone else's characters really helps. You are are all amazing storytellers

Take all the time you need spooks! There is absolutely no time limit on how long it takes you to post. RL comes first and sometimes it needs to be taken care of before a website.

@fomorian I absolutely love John; they way you write him makes him seem like such a real person. He's got the good, the bad, and the ugly just like actual people.~ And his his internal monologues are a hoot!

I LOVE Charani's personality as well and I really feel for her having to risk her hard-earned NORMAL lifestyle to follow a fiery war horse into the unknown. The way you were able to describe her emotions and how they immediately influence the environment around her is so vivid and clever - especially the way the horse acts as a calming force, that was pure genius and gives the horses a whole new purpose than simple mounts or pets. I keep thinking how John's feelings/thoughts might do something similar but it's not as straightforward as anger & frustration (and he hasn't properly faced his horse yet - next scene!). In several ways, John is very much the opposite of Charani, like ice and fire, which was completely unintentional on my part but I think makes a lot of sense. I'm really interested to find out how they'll interact!

OH and I revised Death's powers (within reason ofc):

Death can speed up/worsen some genetic & terminal illnesses, such as cancerous tumours, depression, psychosis, fertility and sexual issues. Infertility issues in men/women would be his influence, including miscarriages, life-threatening pregnancies/deliveries, birth defects.

Perhaps the most direct/obvious way Death's powers can harm someone is his ability to "inspire" people to self-harm and even suicide. Mentally stable people will suddenly start smoking like chimneys, driving recklessly, mixing different drugs, aggravating dangerous animals or people, doing extreme challenges for internet clout and generally "playing" with death. It's when people possess the hubris to act like immortals that Death comes swooping in to pluck them from the tree of life. It is Death's understanding that such people are asking for Death, as much as those who are suffering. After all, one who loves life will know not treat it like a game they can ever hope to win.

Sorry for being so inactive! I've had a bunch of stuff going on irl and haven't been able to get on very much, or reply to much either. I've even been missing the lunar event which sucks because the new base is gorgeous.

I'm really hoping to get a reply in soon..

@CowboyLavaLamp Take all the time you need! I get it, and RL will always come before a pet site.~ And I definitely don't want anyone to feel pressured to respond. DX Oh, and if you don't end up getting the base let me know! I'll buy you one and toss it over. I'm not a fan of the lunar bases and have a lot of LT to spend.

@β˜¨π–‹π–”π–’π–”π–—π–Žπ–†π–“β˜¨ John's powers are so cool! I love the idea that he can influence or manipulate peoples self-preservation and cause them to self harm. That's so clever!

If neither Spooks or Shuichi reply by tomorrow I'll go ahead and post again as well.

@Alcarie you inspired me, actually! I love how Charani's emotions have an immediate impact on the people around her, I thought that was genius, so I spent some time thinking about whether I can do something similar with John/Death. So thank you for the idea!

Also, idk if we're going to do something like the Final/True form of the Horsemen, but here's a design concept I have for the Horseman of Death! (with the help of AI again, but I made some minor edits as well)



It was also the only way I could finally generate a horse that looks the way I want it to.

β˜¨π–‹π–”π–’π–”π–—π–Žπ–†π–“β˜¨, great concept! I think something very weepy and sad is what I would do for Reese. Something that looks very Victorian era oil painting-ish. Almost make's you want to cry when you see it sort of vibe lmao.
