August 18th, 00:00am WDT through August 24th, 11:59pm WDT If you're new or you need a refresher on how the Lunar Event works, we recommend reading the Lunar Event announcement news post located here: LINK! Now, we'll move to the part about the event updates! :D Real Life Lunar Event! This month, a special Lunar Event happened in real life - we are experiencing a month with a Blue Moon (two full moons in one month), but both are also Supermoons. In August, the Full Moon is called a Sturgeon Moon, so because of this, the Lunar Shoppe will feature all applicators we've released so far, one extra unique background, and one mirrored background to celebrate the special event will also appear in the Raccoon Wares, until end of the month! The next time these unique backgrounds will be available together is in 2029... But we'll make an exception and possibly have it show up during another special real life Lunar event that isn't THAT far in the future. ;D The August Supermoon will appear in 2024 so the Lunar version of the background will appear then as well! There is no new base or claw, nose, and skin set this month due to the massive release of older applicators. That being said, to keep things fresh, there is a new unique eye applicator! This event's unique Lunar eye applicator is Blue Moon! Blue Moon eyes can pass Blue Moon and will fail to Black, Blue, Ice, and White. Notice: The unique base, marking, claws, nose, and skin applicators that are available this week (Penumbra/Penumbral set) will be retiring after next month's Lunar event. They will appear all at once during the next real life Lunar event of our choice. The eye applicator retires this week, but it can also be found again in the Lunar Shoppe when a real life Lunar event occurs. We will put out an announcement in advance when a real life Lunar event is approaching! New Lunar Shoppe Offers! This month, we are adding two new backgrounds, available universally in all biomes! Lunar Sturgeon Supermoon (special and unique for August Supermoon events!) - Lunar Shoppe Sturgeon in the Blue Moon (special and unique for Blue Moon event in August!) - Raccoon Wares Seasonal Blue Moon is making a return this month due to Blue Moon jumping upon us this year as well! :D - Lunar Shoppe They are special items, meaning they will come back only when this particular Lunar event happens again in real life. Aside from that, these very unique items might only appear in community raffles in future or a very, very special event of our choice.
