I've been recording fishing daily leaderboards for over two months, all by copying the boards by hand near rollovers. Although I missed a lot due to my real life schedule, and have a lot of screenshots on my phone that are yet to be transformed into charts on computer, I've sorted enough data to show some impressions. Let's put some interesting data here for now. *Due to the update, fishing minigame has become a completely diffrent game to me, and to all the players. So I divided them into two eras, the 1st era, with the old mechanics, and the 2nd era, with the new mechanics. -------------------------------- ERA CATALOGUE1st era (you are here!)2nd era -------------------------------- Time included: June 10th - August 25th, 2023 Total recorded days: 37 *As I do everything by hand(without any auto-update sort of codes), updating these data everyday is very hard. The lightest daily haul recorded is 1 lb 15.95 oz pulled by ♡ Purple ♡ (#111552) in Desert on June 19th 2023. Fact 3: How much should you fish on average before entering a daily leaderboard (Last Updated: August 21st) Coniferous Forest: 27 lb 10.4 oz Deciduous Forest: 96 lb 10.4 oz Desert: 7 lb 6.4 oz Glacier: 13 lb 2.72 oz Grasslands: 17 lb 1.76 oz Mountains: 36 lb 12.64 oz Prairie: 13 lb 15.04 oz Rainforest: 10 lb 12.32 oz Riparian Woodland: 13 lb 0.96 oz Swamp: 8 lb 2.88 oz Taiga: 23 lb 4.64 oz Tundra: 29 lb 6.56 oz Fact 4: Who are on the leaderboards? (Last Updated: August 21st) 1. There are 1230 different players that claimed the leaderboard at least one time. 2. There are 575 different players that claimed the leaderboard only one time. 3. Most claim on the leaderboard is 30 times in 33 days, among which were 26 times on the 1st place. Fact 5: Leaderboard id distribution (Last Updated: August 22nd) Below is the id distribution of players that ever claimed the board. I realize that the oldest players seem to favor fishing game more than many of those who joined later.
