Crafting Update

A massive bunch of new recipes have been added to the game in various areas.  You can find new applicators, backgrounds, and decors!  Let's go through it all!

You, the community, voted in a poll some time ago on the next craftable base applicator.  Caribou was right up there after Badger, so here we go - we've released a Caribou base applicator and a Rangifer eye applicator!  The recipes for them can be found as rare trophies when battling Caribou enemies (Lunar ones included)!

Caribou is Monochrome Medium Tier III - it is Breed Only, which means you can breed it outside of the applicator, as well!  The skin, nose, and claws tied to it are Dark.

Rangifer eyes can pass Rangifer and can fail to Brown, Black, and Hazel.

When battling Cougars and Jaguars, you can find the recipe for this decor:
- Big Cat Claw Necklace

When battling Eastern Wolves and Guardian Sled Dogs, you can find the recipe for this decor:
- Pelt Merchant Outfit

When battling non-Lunar Bears, you can find the recipe for this decor:
- Ornate Fang Necklace

In explore, when coming across a Grouse encounter, there's a chance for you to find recipes for all of the following:
- Spruce Grouse Feather [Female]
- Spruce Grouse Feather [Male]
- Ruffed Grouse Feather [Female]
- Ruffed Grouse Feather [Male]
- Gunnison Sage-Grouse Feather [Female]
- Gunnison Sage-Grouse Feather [Male]

When foraging for herbs, your herbalist can find the following recipes:
- Chaparral Herb Crown
- Redwood Sorrel Herb Crown

When finding den items in explore, you can find the following recipes as well:
- Arctic Draba & Amethyst Fields
- Tropical Cave


Just as you voted in another poll, let's see if those February items can be useful for crafting!  We're starting off with this Amethyst background.

New Scar Set

You also voted for this one - a new scar set, appearing in new areas of the game!

You now have a chance of getting these whenever your pup survival triggers an event, or when personalities clash (like during hunting).  But, in case you have a great, happy, and safe pack, we have added four rare encounters, one for each season of the game, which can grant you one of these new scars... in exchange for a small amount of HP.

Other Updates

Fishing

We have made some adjustments to how the Fishing minigame works.

We have effectively removed the timer - you can now fish continuously instead of waiting 10 minutes to submit a fish, although new fish will spawn slightly slower (i.e. 2-4 seconds slower).

The daily cap of 100 SC has been replaced with a daily cap of 30 submitted (not caught) fish. This is equivalent of fishing for 5 hours in the old system, but you can now do it in one sitting. If you're picky about the fish you submit, you can now make more than 100 SC!

We removed the "Best fish" from the bottom of the screen since it's not used, and enlarged the text instead in a few places.

Gold Cone Purchase History

You may have already noticed, but there is a new "Purchase History" button when viewing your Currency Log.  This details your 25 most recent Gold Cone purchases from the Grove.

Socializing Notices

They're finally here - a notice should now appear when a Socializing session has ended, and should automatically disappear when you visit the Socializing page.

This notice will only appear for new socializations that start after the news is posted.  If you have a socialization currently going prior to the news being posted, you will not get a notice for it.
