@Nakoma --it depends on the individual. The packborn wolves are named after shrines from Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, the latter of which I believe are anagrams of Japanese place names? But they're not actually Japanese words as far as I'm aware. (Some Shrine names sound more like other languages, actually.) Several of the other names (like Suzumushi and Sôgyo no Kotowari) are also Japanese, taken from the anime Bleach :) A couple (Tiburón and Murcielago) are Spanish, and a few (Míria and Palantíri, Lanfear and Semirhage) are taken from Tolkien and Robert Jordan's conlangs, respectively. The rest of the names are all plucked from characters, place names (Fyke and Veelox) episode titles (The Return, Snow Falls) and (in one case) chapter names (Floating Like Snow). |

Thank youuu they're actually all named after songs!! Season 2 Episode 3 is a glass animals song I'm especially fond of, but it's really funny when people see her (and my others) out of context bc it's just a wack name if u don't know the origin ahaha - Limbo is the only non-song one bc that's what I call pups I'm on the fence about enclaving, not quite sure if I'll keep or not, hence being in "limbo" |
